about the owner
Zach’s parents, Chris and Kim McKeel owned and operated Apple Realty, a property management company in Durham, NC. There he worked after school hours and summers providing lawn maintenance services as a vendor for Apple.
He continued to develop skills working with construction companies in Wilmington and then in Durham after graduating from UNCW. Early into his professional career, he studied and passed the NC General Contractor’s Exam and has accumulated 10+ years of experience in the construction industry.

Graduating from UNC Wilmington with a degree in Business, Zach founded McKeel Development in the summer of 2015.
Zach and his wife Lauren were married in April 2016 and have three young boys.
